Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

Um. This is for real. For real the best cookie I've ever made. I mean, I love the Cake Ball Stuffed Cookies and adore the Sixlets Cookies...

BUT.... I LURVE yogurt covered pretzels... and milk chocolate... which leads to me really really loving these cookies.

If you read my previous post then you know I am on a bit of a Sweet and Salty kick right now.... and it's pretty much an awesome time to live in my house :)

These cookies start off exactly the way my M&M and Pretzel Chocolate Chip Cookies start....

Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Milk Chocolate Chip Cookies

You will need:

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 stick Crisco butter flavored baking stick (sold on the baking isle near the shortening)

OR 1 cup softened butter

3/4 cup sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 eggs

1 cup crushed yogurt covered pretzels

1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips

Can we talk about yogurt covered pretzels real quick???....

A. They are super hard to find! I went to 2 grocery stores and 3 gas stations with no luck. Finally found them at Walgreen's..... Walgreen's! And what's funny is that they are Walgreen's brand and it is called "Cafe W'... which kinda cracks me up...

B. Is it yogurt? or Is it white chocolate? I mean I feel like it's white chocolate... but it doesn't say white chocolate.

Anyways... I love them! Hard to find... Confusing name... I don't care!!

Back to recipe!!!!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine flour, baking soda and salt in a separate bowl and set aside.

Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs.....

Beat wet mixture with electric mixer... then gradually add in flour...

And now for the super special ingredients!!!

Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Milk Chocolate Chips...

Add one cup of each to the mixture....

I used my trusty Ziplok bag and tenderizer to crush the pretzels.... I kept them pretty chunky.

Stir both into cookie dough....

Yummmmmmooooooo!

Scoop about 2 Tbsp per cookie onto baking sheet and bake for 13 minutes. Let cool for a bit then move to cooling rack.

And then have a photo shoot....

or just eat the cookies and look at pictures of my photo shoot....

Sigh.... so incredibly delicious...

I hope you get a chance to try these out! They are a pretty easy bake.... and so good!

Another Sweet and Salty Cookie coming soon.

I wasn't going to bake anything else for Easter... until now! There's a place by my office with little tubs of yogurt pretzels so I'm definitely going to grab a tub and make some cookies!

These look great. Thanks for posting! I usually buy yogurt-covered pretzels at our local food co-op but I know they sell them at Meijers as well if you have that.

I made these Saturday for a surprise Easter dessert, which is funny because my mom gave me yogurt pretzels in an Easter baggie of treats yesterday without knowing about the cookies. Anyways, these cookies were AMAZING. The flavors are sensational and I got my cookie to the perfect level of crispy edges, chewy center. I don't think I should even admit how many of these cookies I ate but since I have 2 more containers of yogurt pretzels in my house, I will DEFINITELY be making them again.
