Cobbler Cones.... yep, cobbler... in a cone... and it gets better :)

Uh oh..... this is a little bit addictive... I apologize now.
Because it is so super easy and clever and delicious and cute and wonderful.
All of those things... all of those adjectives.
So my mom makes this amazing peach cobbler. And the name is literally Easy Peach Cobbler... guess what? It's Easy.
It was one of my dad's favorites and actually... I haven't met anyone that doesn't love it. So I was going to make the cobbler... and of course I was going to put ice cream on top of it.
And then I thought of this..... a Cobbler Cone! A waffle cone with cobbler in the bottom and ice cream on top. I mean seriously... you can't go wrong with this. Can't.
To partake in this amazingness you will first need to make some peach cobbler.... my mom's recipe of course. Cause it's the best.
So... Easy Peach Cobbler
1 cup sugar
1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
dash of salt
3/4 cup milk
1 stick of butter
1 large can of sliced peaches
brown sugar
cinnamon
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix the first five ingredients by hand to make the batter.
Melt the stick of butter in a 9x11 dish in the oven.
Once melted immediately pour batter into pan.

Now pour the peaches on top of the batter.... with the juice.

Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon and you are ready to bake!
Bake at 350 for 30 minutes..... See how easy! Like for real :)

It always comes out perfect and the batter is like this sweet, fluffy-ish, great goodness!
I could totally have eaten this just the way it was... standing up... in the kitchen.... possibly with my fingers.... if it wasn't hot...
But I really wanted to try the cobbler cones... Eeeek!
So...

Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla... of course!
I let the cobbler cool completely then just scooped it into a cone.

Oh. Eeeeeem. Geeeeee.

And then there came the ice cream....

And then there came me eating one....

And then there was a tiny little photo shoot.... :)

I know to never shoot into the sunlight but it's kind of a cool picture....

The ice cream actually didn't melt very fast... this was one of the last photos we took... I knew I was pushing it a bit.
So.... advantages to cobbler cones over cobbler in a bowl...
1. They are adorable.
2. You can hold them in your sweet little hand and eat.... no utensils required.
3. You do not have to wash the bowls and spoons.
4. They are super easy and great for parties and cookouts... Eeeek!
5. You get to eat a waffle cone in addition to peach cobbler and ice cream.... DUH!
6. And I really think... really think... you will look cool eating this... like people will envy you. Really.
Anyways.... I hope you try them... and love them :)
Happy baking, scooping, dipping and eating!

Aside from the fact that I don't like peaches, this looks great :) I suppose you could substitute apples or cherries if you had to, right? PS. I love your pan!
Yes! Yes!!! Substitute anything... I even thought about putting brownies or cake in the cone :))))
FREEEEEEAAAAAAAKKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGG GENIUS.
HOLY COW I NEED THESE. you are so creative!!!
This is so great!!! I can't wait to surprise my cobbler lovin' lover with this one. Thanks for sharing!
One of my top 10 all time favorite desserts is peach cobbler. Anytime, anyplace, on anythiing. I love it. I needed a towel to wipe the drool from my mouth, these look so good. I'm trying to stay off sugar for two weeks before vacation and this was the wrong post to look at. I'm dying over here. It really does look delicious.
Wow, very easy indeed. It looks so fun as well -gonna make these for my little cousins, they'll love them!
Heaven in a cone!
Oh my this looks so good. I did not have any peaches sooooo I used homemade apple pie filling. This should be good. Thanks for the recipe and the cone idea.
I made these tonight and YUMMMMMMMM!!!!! I don't think I will ever eat a cobbler or pie with a fork again. I'm just gonna put everything in a cone. I'm going to make this next time with apples since my kids love apple cobbler/pie. Thanks for all the great ideas.
Drool!
I am going to try these for a summer birthday party! They look fabulous! Can I ask...what is the blue polka dot thing you put the cones in? Seems like the perfect tool to set these in - and would be great for all kinds of "cone related" creations.
Thanks for the brilliant blog. I can just see all your creativity jumping off the page...
I just made the S'mores cakeballs and they turned out AWESOME. So easy and looks like I slaved all day. I was just wondering why my cake is not real "cakey". I followed the directions to a T, even putting in less cream cheese frosting than the recipe called for. I used a Duncan Hines chocolate cake mix. They turned out great but my personal preference is alittle more cakey. Any suggestions? Thanks
I made two batches of cobbler using your recipe this Labor Day weekend. One batch with peaches and one batch with apricots... both amazing, My brother, sister-in-law, mom, dad, husband, and I all enjoyed it!
This looks seriously amazing! Firstly, I have been looking for an easy peach cobbler recipe and secondly, the cobbler in a cone idea is just genius! Genius!
